Staffora XL 2.02m Polished Steel Water Wall & Base

A two-metre architectural water wall with a mirror-polished finish and completely above-ground reservoir — statement scale without excavating your patio or garden.

Exclusive to Aqua Moda, the Staffora XL 2.02m Polished Steel Water Wall & Base combines our 1.8m Staffora panel with a matching polished reservoir surround, creating an overall installed height of approximately 202cm.

The Grade 304 stainless-steel panel is mirror polished to reflect planting, architecture and changing skies. Water travels across the broad front and rear faces, continually changing the reflections as it moves.

The functional water reservoir is a heavy-duty plastic pebble pool concealed within the polished steel base. This gives the feature a strong, practical water system while keeping the entire installation above ground.

THE 1.8M STAFFORA — WITHOUT THE DIGGING

Statement height with a completely above-ground reservoir.

This version uses the same tall 1.8m polished panel as the in-ground Staffora, but the heavy-duty reservoir remains above ground inside a matching stainless-steel surround. The result is a substantial 202cm feature that can be positioned on an appropriate finished surface without excavating a pebble pool.

No buried reservoir Ideal where existing paving or hard landscaping makes excavation undesirable.

Heavy-duty internal pool A reinforced plastic reservoir provides the functional water container inside the decorative base.

Matching polished surround The exterior visually links the reservoir with the 1.8m stainless-steel panel.

THE STAFFORA WATER EFFECT

Water cascading across two broad polished faces.

The supplied 3500LPH pump sends water internally to the top of the panel before it travels down the broad front and rear surfaces and returns to the hidden reservoir within the base.

ABOVE-GROUND INSTALLATION

No excavation, but careful positioning matters.

At over two metres overall, the XL Staffora should be installed on a firm, completely level and suitably load-bearing surface, following the supplied installation instructions.

01 Choose the position Select a firm, stable, level and suitably load-bearing surface.

02 Position the reservoir Place the heavy-duty plastic pebble pool securely inside the polished steel surround.

03 Install the pump Position the supplied 3500LPH pump and connect the water pipe to the Staffora.

04 Fit panel & lid Secure the heavy-duty lid and install the 1.8m polished panel following the supplied instructions.

05 Add the lighting Position the multicolour LED at the base so the light travels upwards across the water.

06 Finish with pebbles Decorative pebbles can be added over the reservoir lid for a softer finished appearance.

The XL Staffora carries water across a large vertical surface. Very exposed or windy positions can cause droplets to move away from the panel, while the complete above-ground installation also requires a suitably strong and stable base surface.

Consider wind exposure Walls, fencing, buildings and substantial planting can help reduce direct wind across the panel.

Use a suitable surface The complete feature should stand on a firm, stable, level and appropriately load-bearing surface.

WATER BY DAY / ILLUMINATED AFTER DARK

A two-metre reflective surface that changes from day to night.

During daylight, moving water continually distorts the surrounding reflections across the mirror-polished steel. After dark, the supplied multicolour LED uplight shines upwards across the water and emphasises the full height of the feature.

Choose 1.2m for more compact patios and courtyards, or 1.8m for genuine statement scale. Choose with base when you want to avoid excavation, or in-ground when you want the most integrated landscaped finish. Polished steel gives a highly reflective contemporary appearance, while Corten develops a warmer natural patina.

ENGINEERED & HAND-FINISHED

Characteristics of a large fabricated stainless-steel feature.

The XL Staffora is a large engineered metal water feature assembled and finished by hand. Minor weld marks, slight creases or small surface variations can occasionally occur as part of fabrication. These characteristics are generally far less noticeable once water is flowing and do not affect the operation or expected lifespan of the feature.

COMPLETE THE LOOK

Add decorative pebbles around the panel.

Decorative pebbles can be placed over the heavy-duty reservoir lid inside the polished base, softening the transition between the panel and reservoir while coordinating the feature with surrounding paving and planting.
