A statement mirrored sphere with a matching polished base and battery-backed solar system — combining 97cm overall presence with no digging and no permanent mains cable.

The Solar Aterno 75cm Polished Steel Sphere & Base Water Feature combines one of the strongest domestic and commercial Aterno sizes with an above-ground reservoir and our powerful 800LPH battery-backed solar pump system.

Made from grade 304 stainless steel, the 75cm polished sphere reflects planting, architecture and changing skies while water moves continuously across its curved surface. At approximately 97cm overall height, it has enough presence to become a genuine focal point in larger gardens, courtyards and commercial outdoor spaces.

The reservoir is concealed inside the matching polished stainless-steel base, removing the need to excavate below ground. Solar power also means there is no requirement for a permanent mains electrical cable at the feature position, giving you considerably more freedom when planning the installation.

The 800LPH solar system includes rechargeable battery backup, giving you greater freedom over where the water feature is positioned.

ABOVE-GROUND ATERNO

A substantial statement feature without excavating the landscape.

The polished steel surround conceals the water reservoir inside the base, allowing the complete feature to sit above ground on a suitable firm and level surface. This makes the raised 75cm particularly useful where paving or hard landscaping is already complete.

SUPPLIED WITH OUR 800LPH SOLAR SYSTEM

Battery-backed solar with more control than a basic solar fountain.

The supplied 800LPH brushless solar pump uses an 8W solar panel and rechargeable battery control unit. During good daylight the panel powers the system and charges the battery, allowing stored energy to continue operating the feature when sunlight levels fall.

POSITION THE FEATURE, THEN THE PANEL

The sphere itself does not need to sit in full sun.

Position the Aterno where it creates the strongest visual impact, then place the separate solar panel nearby where it can receive good direct sunlight.

Feature Position Choose the sphere position around the garden or landscape design rather than around the location of a mains socket.

Solar Panel Position Place the panel in an open position with good direct sunlight and minimise prolonged shade from trees or buildings.

4.5m Pump Cable The pump connects to the battery control unit with approximately 4.5m of cable.

2m Panel Cable The solar panel connects separately to the control unit so its position can be optimised for sunlight.

5m LED Cable The separate six-LED uplight has approximately 5m of cable from the control unit.
