Staffora 1.2m Polished Steel Water Wall

A compact architectural water wall with a mirror-polished finish, water flowing across both broad faces and the complete reservoir concealed below ground.

Exclusive to Aqua Moda, the Staffora 1.2m Polished Steel Water Wall brings the architectural character of the Staffora collection into a more compact format. At approximately 120cm high, 45cm wide and only 6cm deep, it adds vertical structure and movement without dominating the surrounding garden.

The panel is manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel and finished to a mirror polish that reflects planting, paving, buildings and changing skies. Water is distributed across the top before cascading down the broad front and rear faces, continually changing those reflections as it moves.

The supplied reservoir installs below ground and can be completely concealed beneath decorative pebbles, leaving the polished panel as the main visible feature. This makes the 1.2m Staffora particularly effective beside patios, within courtyards and in more compact landscaped gardens.

The reservoir, pump and plumbing sit beneath the surrounding surface so the finished installation remains visually simple.

THE STAFFORA WATER EFFECT

Water flows across both broad polished faces.

The supplied 3000LPH pump sends water internally to the top of the Staffora, where it is distributed across the broad front and rear surfaces. Water then cascades down both faces before returning to the hidden reservoir below. The narrow 6cm edges remain largely dry, preserving the distinctive flat-panel profile.

SEAMLESS IN-GROUND INSTALLATION

Make the reservoir disappear.

The 65 × 44 × 21cm heavy-duty pebble pool installs beneath ground level. Once the lid is finished with decorative pebbles, the reservoir and plumbing disappear from view.

01 Choose the position Select a firm, level location with access to a suitable outdoor electrical supply.

02 Excavate for the reservoir Create a suitable hole for the 65 × 44 × 21cm heavy-duty plastic pebble pool.

03 Level the reservoir Install the reservoir securely and completely level, with the upper edge positioned appropriately above surrounding soil.

04 Install pump & panel Position the supplied 3000LPH pump and connect the water supply to the Staffora panel.

05 Add the uplight Position the multicolour LED at the base so it shines upwards across the moving water.

06 Finish with pebbles Cover the reservoir lid while retaining suitable access to the pump for future maintenance.

Designed for more compact architectural spaces.

The 1.2m model delivers the Staffora look without requiring the scale of the 1.8m panel, making it particularly versatile for typical residential gardens.

POSITIONING A WATER WALL

A reasonably sheltered position usually produces the best result.

Although the 1.2m Staffora is less exposed than the taller 1.8m model, strong wind can still move droplets away from the vertical water surface. Consider prevailing wind, surrounding surfaces and natural shelter when choosing its position.

Use natural shelter Walls, fences, planting and courtyard layouts can help reduce direct wind exposure.

Allow for splash Choose surrounding paving or ground finishes that are suitable for occasional water droplets.

Keep everything level A carefully levelled reservoir and panel help produce a more even flow and reliable water return.

A compact panel also makes repeated installations easier.

The narrower 1.2m Staffora works particularly well when a designer wants to use several vertical elements without each panel dominating the space.

WATER BY DAY / ILLUMINATED AFTER DARK

Reflection and movement continue into the evening.

During daylight, the polished panel reflects the surrounding garden while moving water continually changes the surface. After dark, the supplied multicolour LED uplight illuminates the flowing water from below and emphasises the vertical form.

Choose 1.2m when the Staffora will sit relatively close to a patio, seating area or within a smaller courtyard. Choose 1.8m when you want a stronger architectural statement or the feature will be viewed from further away. ENGINEERED & HAND-FINISHED

Characteristics of a fabricated stainless-steel feature.

Staffora is an engineered metal water feature assembled and finished by hand. Minor weld marks, slight creases or small surface variations can occasionally be visible as part of the fabrication process. These cosmetic characteristics generally become considerably less noticeable once water is flowing across the polished surface and do not affect the operation or expected lifespan of the feature.

COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION

Choose pebbles to conceal the reservoir.

Decorative pebbles are available separately, allowing you to completely conceal the reservoir lid while selecting a colour and texture that complements the polished steel, surrounding paving and planting.
