AQUA MODA ALLIA   /   INDIVIDUAL NATURAL SLATE

Allia Slate Monolith Water Feature No. 146

A slender 64cm natural slate monolith with a compact 24cm-wide profile — individually photographed so you can choose the exact stone that will arrive in your garden.

Every Aqua Moda Allia begins with a real piece of natural slate selected for its individual shape, edges, layering and surface character. Rather than choosing a generic monolith and accepting whichever stone arrives, you can browse the individual pieces and select the one you actually prefer.

No. 146 measures approximately 64cm high × 24cm wide × 15cm deep. Its relatively narrow 24cm face and compact 64cm height give it a particularly slender, upright appearance, making it easy to integrate into patios, courtyards, planted borders and smaller garden settings.

Once running, water travels across the natural slate surface, deepening its colour and drawing attention to the real texture, layering and markings within the stone.

THE ALLIA DIFFERENCE

The stone you see is the stone you get.

With genuine natural slate, shape matters just as much as size. Two stones of similar height can have completely different proportions, edges, markings and character. That is why we photograph Allia stones individually — so you can choose the actual piece that feels right for your garden.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR ALLIA

Choose the individual stone, not simply the measurement.

Height gives you a useful starting point, but it is the outline, proportions, natural face and markings that give each Allia its individual character.

01   LOOK AT THE STONE

Choose the shape you prefer

Study the actual photographs and compare the outline, natural edges and surface character of No. 146 with the other available pieces.

02   CONSIDER THE PROPORTIONS

Slender as well as compact

At 64cm high and only 24cm wide, No. 146 has a distinctly narrow upright form that sets it apart from broader monoliths of a similar height.

03   ASK US TO HELP

Use our personal consultation

If several stones appeal to you, we can help compare their proportions, character and suitability for the position you have in mind.

PERSONAL ALLIA CONSULTATION

Not sure which individual stone will work best?

You do not need to make the decision from dimensions alone. Book a personal consultation and we can talk through the available Allia stones, consider photographs of your garden, discuss the scale and position, and help narrow the collection to the pieces best suited to your space. Consultations are available in Manchester or virtually.

THE CHARACTER OF NO. 146

Slender, upright and easy to position.

No. 146 combines a compact 64cm height with a particularly narrow 24cm face, giving this individual monolith a clean vertical form without the visual weight of a broader stone.
64cm High A compact natural monolith that creates a clear focal point without dominating smaller residential garden spaces.
24cm Wide Its relatively narrow face gives No. 146 a distinctly upright and slender appearance compared with broader stones of a similar height.
15cm Deep Enough natural depth to give the slate physical presence while maintaining a compact overall footprint.
Individual Natural Slate The outline, edges, layering and surface markings belong to this exact piece of stone rather than a repeated manufactured design.

NATURAL SLATE   /   MOVING WATER

Water reveals more of the stone.

Slate often becomes noticeably richer when wet. Water travelling across No. 146 deepens the natural tones of the stone while making its layers, markings and surface texture more prominent.

Natural water movement The water responds to the real contours and texture of the stone rather than following a perfectly manufactured surface.
Deeper colour when wet The slate typically becomes darker and more saturated while the feature is running.
Individual water effect The natural shape of No. 146 influences how water finds its route across the monolith.

WHERE NO. 146 WORKS WELL

A compact natural stone feature designed for closer garden spaces.

The slender 64 × 24 × 15cm proportions make No. 146 particularly versatile where you want genuine stone and moving water without introducing an overly dominant feature.

PATIOS & SEATING AREAS

Designed for closer viewing

Its compact scale allows the slate texture and moving water to be appreciated from nearby seating and entertaining areas.

PLANTED BORDERS

Easy to integrate with planting

Its narrow upright form can sit naturally amongst grasses, ferns, shrubs and structured contemporary planting.

COURTYARDS

Natural character without bulk

At just 24cm wide, the stone introduces vertical form and natural texture without requiring a visually heavy feature.

PLANNING YOUR ALLIA INSTALLATION

Natural stone is substantial — a little planning makes installation straightforward.

An Allia monolith is a genuine piece of natural stone rather than a lightweight moulded fountain. It is therefore worth deciding where it will live and thinking about the route to that position before installation day. For a compact stone such as No. 146, this is usually simply a matter of sensible preparation.

01   FINAL POSITION Choose where it will live

Select a firm, level area where the stone can be appreciated from the viewpoints that matter most in your garden.

02   ACCESS Think about the route in

Consider gates, steps, side passages and the route between the delivery point and the final position before installation day.

03   PREPARATION Prepare the water system first

Having the reservoir area prepared before positioning the monolith makes the final installation much more straightforward.

Unsure about the proposed position?

Send us photographs of the garden or book a personal consultation. We can discuss the stone, access and general installation approach with you before you order, helping make sure everything has been considered without overcomplicating the project.

COMPLETE WATER FEATURE

A genuine slate monolith transformed into a recirculating water feature.

No. 146 is supplied as an Allia water feature rather than simply a decorative stone. The water system recirculates water from the concealed reservoir through the drilled monolith and back again.
Allia Slate Monolith No. 146 The exact 64 × 24 × 15cm individual natural slate stone shown for this product.
Water Reservoir A below-ground reservoir provides the concealed water supply for the recirculating system.
Support System The reservoir installation supports the stone while allowing water to return below the decorative surface.
Recirculating Pump The supplied water system carries water from the reservoir through the drilled slate monolith.
Required Water Connections Pipework connects the pump and reservoir to the water outlet within the stone.
Decorative Finish Choose decorative pebbles separately to conceal the reservoir area and integrate the feature into the surrounding garden.
CHOOSING WITH CONFIDENCE

Love Allia, but not completely sure about No. 146?

That is exactly why we present the stones individually. Another monolith may have a similar height but a completely different width, outline, edge profile or surface character.

YOUR STONE   /   YOUR GARDEN

Choose the Allia you actually want to live with.

If No. 146 is the stone that catches your eye, this is the individual stone you will receive. If another piece feels better for your garden, compare the collection or let our specialists help you choose. With Allia, the aim is to find the right stone rather than simply select a size from a list.
