AQUA MODA ALLIA   /   INDIVIDUAL NORTH WALES SLATE

Allia Blue Grey Peaked Slate Monolith Water Feature No. 195

A monumental North Wales slate monolith with a near-metre-wide triangular form, dramatic natural peak and extraordinary depth โ€” photographed individually so you can choose the exact stone you will receive.

No. 195 is a very different proposition from a conventional upright monolith. Standing approximately 128cm high but an exceptional 96cm wide, its broad triangular form echoes the mountain landscape of its North Wales origin.

The stone measures approximately 128cm high ร— 96cm wide ร— 43cm deep. Those proportions give No. 195 remarkable visual mass: it is almost a metre across and considerably deeper than many standing slate monoliths, creating the appearance of a substantial piece of landscape rather than a narrow decorative slab.

Its natural blue-grey colouring reveals flecks of copper and white. Once wet, the slate darkens and saturates, bringing those mineral details into stronger contrast while water ripples across the natural striations of the stone.

THE ACTUAL STONE

Allia No. 195

The photographs on this product page show the individual No. 195 monolith. If this is the stone you choose, this is the exact piece that will be reserved for your order.

DEPTH 43cm / 17in

THE ALLIA DIFFERENCE

A stone with these proportions cannot be chosen from a generic photograph.

No. 195 is not simply a โ€œ128cm slate monolithโ€. The photographs show the actual stone you will receive. Its extraordinary 96cm width, substantial 43cm depth, triangular peak, striations and mineral colouring belong to this individual piece alone.

A VERY DIFFERENT KIND OF ALLIA

Wide, deep and shaped more like a piece of mountain than a narrow monolith.

No. 195's defining characteristic is not its height. It is the combination of a broad triangular outline and substantial depth that gives this stone its remarkable physical presence.

01   96CM WIDE

A near-metre-wide natural face

Its exceptional width makes No. 195 one of the most visually substantial pieces in the Allia collection.

02   TRIANGULAR PEAK

A mountain-like silhouette

The naturally peaked outline gives the stone a strong geological character that reflects its North Wales origin.

03   43CM DEEP

Genuine three-dimensional mass

The unusually generous depth means the feature has presence from different viewing angles rather than reading as a flat stone face.

PERSONAL ALLIA CONSULTATION

For a stone like No. 195, let us help you plan the position.

Send us photographs and measurements of your garden, arrange a virtual consultation or book a viewing in Manchester. We can help you assess whether the scale and unusually broad proportions of No. 195 work for your setting, while also discussing access, machinery and installation before you commit.

THE CHARACTER OF NO. 195

Broad, chunky and naturally mountainous.

No. 195 has more physical mass than its 128cm height alone suggests. Its combination of width, depth and pointed form creates an imposing piece of natural stone with a very different character to taller, narrower Allia monoliths.
128cm High Approximately four feet high, giving the stone strong vertical presence without relying on extreme height alone.
96cm Wide The exceptionally broad face creates a dramatic natural canvas for water and makes the stone visually substantial within the landscape.
43cm Deep The generous front-to-back dimension gives No. 195 substantial three-dimensional form and makes it effective from multiple viewpoints.
Natural Triangular Peak Its upper profile rises into a broad peak, creating the distinctive mountain-like outline that defines the stone.

WATER ACROSS ALL SIDES

The depth of the stone creates a more three-dimensional water effect.

No. 195 is pre-drilled so water emerges from the upper section before travelling across the different surfaces of the monolith. Rather than being confined to one broad face, water can flow across the stone's sides, rippling as it passes over the natural striations.

Water flows across all sides The substantial 43cm depth creates multiple natural surfaces for the moving water.
Natural stone striations Water ripples as it crosses the real layered texture and contours of the slate.
Colour intensifies when wet Blue-grey tones darken while natural copper and white flecks become richer and more defined.

DESIGNED TO COMMAND SPACE

Give No. 195 enough room to appreciate its full shape.

This is not a narrow stone intended to disappear into a tight border. The 96cm width and 43cm depth deserve a position where the complete triangular profile can be seen.

LARGER GARDENS

A genuine natural centrepiece

The broad profile creates enough scale to remain visually important within more substantial gardens and landscaping.

OPEN SIGHTLINES

Show the whole triangular form

Use at the end of a lawn, across an open border or in another position where the full mountain-like silhouette can be appreciated.

MATURE PLANTING

Natural stone amongst greenery

The darkening blue-grey slate, copper detail and substantial form can hold their own against established planting.

PLANNING THE INSTALLATION

The important part is planning before the stone arrives.

No. 195 weighs approximately 1000kg, so suitable specialist machinery is required for handling and final positioning. For a stone of this size, that is best treated as part of the project planning rather than an obstacle: choose the final position first, assess the access and then establish the appropriate method of placing the stone.

01   POSITION Choose the final viewpoint

Consider where the full 96cm width, triangular peak and substantial depth can be properly appreciated.

02   ACCESS Assess the route in advance

Gateways, paths, surface conditions, steps and the route from delivery to the final position should all be considered before installation.

03   MACHINERY Plan appropriate lifting

At approximately 1000kg, suitable specialist machinery is required to move and position No. 195 safely.

Large natural stone installations are very achievable when planned properly.

Send us photographs and dimensions of the proposed garden location and access route. We can help you think through the position and practical requirements before you order, so the installation can be approached with confidence.

LARGE-FORMAT ALLIA

A larger reservoir for a much broader stone.

No. 195 is supplied with a substantial 275-litre pebble pool and steel grid, creating a complete water-feature system sized appropriately for this large natural monolith.

112cm Diameter Pool The supplied pebble pool measures approximately 112cm in diameter ร— 35cm high.
275-Litre Capacity A substantial concealed reservoir forms the recirculating water supply beneath the feature.
Galvanised Steel Grid The reservoir is supplied with its steel grid as part of the complete installation system.
Approx. 1000kg Stone The natural monolith itself requires suitable specialist machinery for final handling and positioning.

COMPLETE WATER FEATURE KIT

Stone, reservoir, pump and water connections included.

No. 195 is supplied pre-drilled together with the principal components required to create the finished recirculating water feature.
Allia Monolith No. 195 The exact 128 ร— 96 ร— 43cm blue-grey natural slate monolith shown in the product photographs.
112cm Pebble Pool Approx. 112cm diameter ร— 35cm high with a 275-litre capacity.
Galvanised Steel Grid Steel support grid supplied as part of the pebble-pool system.
Mains Water Pump Recirculating pump supplied with approximately 10m of power cable.
Required Pipework Water connections supplied for connecting the pump and reservoir to the pre-drilled monolith.
Installation Instructions Installation guidance supplied as part of the complete water-feature kit.
CHOOSE WITH CONFIDENCE

This is why Allia stones should be seen individually.

A simple height measurement would tell you very little about No. 195. Its near-metre width, 43cm depth, mountain-like peak and copper-and-white mineral details make it completely different from a narrower 128cm monolith.
