AQUA MODA ALLIA   /   INDIVIDUAL BLUE GREY SLATE

Allia Blue Grey Slate Monolith Water Feature No. 147

A broad 64cm blue-grey slate monolith with a strong rectangular form, natural pinnacle and subtle copper tones — individually photographed so you can choose the exact stone you will receive.

Sourced from North Wales, Allia No. 147 is a genuine piece of natural slate selected for its distinctive architectural shape. Unlike a manufactured water feature, its outline, natural edges, surface texture and mineral colouring belong to this individual piece alone.

No. 147 measures approximately 64cm high × 38cm wide × 12cm deep. Its broad rectangular face gives it substantially different proportions to narrower stones of the same height, while the natural top rises towards a pinnacle that gives the piece additional vertical character.

Blue-grey slate forms the main colour, with subtle hints of copper adding natural warmth. Once wet, the surface becomes darker and more saturated, bringing additional depth to the stone and emphasising its natural markings.

THE ALLIA DIFFERENCE

The stone you see is the stone you get.

No two natural slate monoliths have the same proportions, outline or markings. No. 147 is not an example of the product — it is the product. The photographs allow you to choose this individual piece because you prefer its broad face, rectangular character, pinnacle and natural colouring.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR ALLIA

Look beyond height — compare the actual stones.

No. 147 demonstrates why Allia is best chosen visually. Another monolith may also measure 64cm high but have completely different proportions, colouring and character.

01   LOOK AT THE FORM

Broad and architectural

The 38cm width gives No. 147 a more substantial face than narrower 64cm monoliths, while the natural pinnacle keeps the profile visually upright.

02   CONSIDER THE COLOUR

Blue-grey with copper detail

Look closely at the actual photographs for the natural colour and mineral markings that distinguish this particular stone.

03   ASK US TO HELP

Compare individual stones

If several Allia pieces appeal to you, we can help compare their proportions, character and suitability for your proposed position.

THE CHARACTER OF NO. 147

Broad, rectangular and finished with a natural pinnacle.

No. 147 combines a compact 64cm height with an unusually broad 38cm face, giving it a stronger architectural presence than narrower monoliths of similar height.
64cm High A versatile residential scale that provides clear presence without requiring the height of a large monolith.
38cm Wide The broad front face creates a substantial visual surface and gives the stone a more solid rectangular appearance.
Only 12cm Deep Its comparatively slim depth balances the broad face and helps maintain a clean architectural profile.
Natural Pinnacle The top rises naturally towards a pinnacle, providing a distinctive point from which the water begins its journey across the stone.

DRILLED AT THE PINNACLE   /   NATURAL WATER PATH

Water begins at the top and follows the natural slope of the stone.

No. 147 is pre-drilled at the top of its pinnacle. Water emerges from this high point before travelling down the naturally sloping upper surface and across the face of the monolith, following the real texture and contours of the slate.

Pinnacle water outlet The stone is drilled at the natural high point so water begins at the top of the feature.
Natural sloping surface Water follows the actual contours of the stone rather than a manufactured channel.
Richer colour when wet The blue-grey slate darkens and becomes more saturated while subtle copper colouring becomes more noticeable.

WHERE NO. 147 WORKS WELL

A particularly architectural natural stone.

Its broad rectangular face and pinnacle make No. 147 a strong choice where you want natural slate but still want the feature to relate comfortably to more structured contemporary landscaping.

MODERN GARDENS

Natural stone with structure

The rectangular shape works particularly well alongside clean paving, rendered walls, raised borders and contemporary planting.

PLANTED BORDERS

Contrast with greenery

The blue-grey stone and warmer copper markings provide a natural contrast against grasses, shrubs and softer green planting.

PATIOS & COURTYARDS

Broad presence at compact height

Its 38cm face gives the feature substance while the 64cm height keeps it appropriate for closer residential spaces.

PLANNING YOUR ALLIA INSTALLATION

A solid natural stone feature, with a system designed around it.

Allia is genuine stone rather than a lightweight moulded fountain, so it is worth considering the final position and access before installation day. No. 147 is supplied with its water-feature kit, allowing the reservoir and water system to be prepared before the monolith is placed into its finished position.

01   FINAL POSITION Choose the setting first

Select a firm, level area where the broad stone face and natural pinnacle can be clearly appreciated.

02   ACCESS Consider the route to the garden

Think about gates, steps and side passages between the delivery point and the final position before installation day.

03   RESERVOIR Prepare the pool first

The 66cm diameter × 40cm deep pebble pool sits below the finished surface and provides the concealed recirculating water supply.

Unsure about the position, access or installation?

Send us photographs of the proposed location or book a personal consultation. We can discuss the individual stone, its scale and the practical installation before you order, so the project can be planned with confidence.

COMPLETE WATER FEATURE KIT

The stone and water system are supplied together.

No. 147 comes pre-drilled and is supplied with the key components required to turn the individual slate monolith into a self-contained recirculating water feature.
Blue Grey Monolith No. 147 The exact 64 × 38 × 12cm North Wales slate stone shown in the product photographs.
66cm Pebble Pool 660mm diameter × 400mm deep reservoir installed beneath the finished garden surface.
Galvanised Steel Grid Strong grid supplied with the pebble pool to provide a stable support system.
Water Pump Recirculating pump supplied as part of the complete water feature kit.
Required Pipework Water connections supplied for carrying water from the reservoir to the drilled pinnacle.
Decorative Finish Add your choice of decorative pebbles over the grid to conceal the reservoir and complete the surrounding landscape.
CHOOSING WITH CONFIDENCE

64cm high does not mean every 64cm Allia looks the same.

No. 147 is a good example of why the individual-stone approach matters. Its 38cm width, 12cm depth, rectangular face and pinnacle give it a very different character from a narrower stone of exactly the same height.
