AQUA MODA ALLIA   /   INDIVIDUAL WELSH SLATE

Allia Grey & Copper Slate Monolith Water Feature No. 194

A monumental 154cm Welsh slate monolith with a broad 73cm face, mountainous pointed profile and natural copper flecks running through the grey stone โ€” the photographs show the actual piece you will receive.

No. 194 is one of the largest individual Allia monoliths in the collection. Its traditional blue-grey slate is broken by bold natural copper markings, giving the stone additional warmth and detail across its substantial surface.

The stone measures approximately 154cm high ร— 73cm wide ร— 31cm deep. It rises naturally towards a pointed top, creating a distinctive mountain-like silhouette that gives the monolith considerable presence even before the water is switched on.

Water emerges from the pre-drilled upper section and moves across the textured slate below. As the surface becomes wet, the grey tones deepen and the copper colouring becomes richer and more noticeable.

THE ALLIA DIFFERENCE

When the stone is this significant, seeing the actual piece matters.

No. 194 is not an example photograph of a 154cm monolith. This is the actual stone available to buy. Its mountainous outline, copper markings, 73cm-wide face and natural slate texture are unique to this individual piece.

A GENUINE STATEMENT MONOLITH

More than a water feature โ€” a major piece of natural stone.

At over 1.5 metres high and approximately one tonne in weight, No. 194 has enough scale to become a permanent architectural element within the garden.

01   154CM HIGH

Exceptional vertical scale

One of the largest Allia monoliths, designed for a position where its full height and natural outline can be appreciated.

02   GREY + COPPER

Natural colour variation

Traditional blue-grey slate is broken by copper flecks that become richer and more visible as water moves over the surface.

03   ONE-OFF PIECE

Choose this exact stone

The dimensions alone do not define No. 194. Its point, face, markings and geological character are unique to this individual monolith.

PERSONAL ALLIA CONSULTATION

For No. 194, we recommend talking the project through with us.

A statement stone deserves a considered position. Send photographs of your garden, arrange a virtual consultation or visit us in Manchester. We can help you assess scale, access, machinery requirements, reservoir positioning and the overall installation before you proceed.

THE CHARACTER OF NO. 194

Mountain-like form with flashes of natural copper.

No. 194 combines the visual weight of a very large slate monolith with a pointed upper profile and mineral colouring that becomes increasingly dramatic when wet.
154cm High A substantial 60-inch natural stone that creates an immediate vertical focal point in larger gardens and landscapes.
73cm Wide Its broad face provides a large natural canvas for moving water and allows the stone's grey and copper colouring to remain clearly visible.
31cm Deep The generous depth reinforces the geological character of the monolith and gives it convincing three-dimensional mass.
Natural Pointed Top The upper profile rises to a point, producing the mountainous silhouette that distinguishes No. 194 from flatter or rounded monoliths.

NATURAL SLATE   /   MOVING WATER

Water transforms the grey and copper surface.

Water emerges from the pre-drilled upper section before travelling down the textured stone. As the slate becomes wet, the grey darkens and the copper flecks become more saturated, creating greater contrast across the broad natural face.

Pre-drilled monolith No. 194 arrives prepared for the supplied water system.
Broad flowing surface The 73cm width creates a substantial natural surface across which the water can move.
Copper intensifies when wet Water deepens the grey stone while bringing additional richness to the natural copper colouring.

WHERE NO. 194 BELONGS

Give a stone of this scale room to become part of the landscape.

No. 194 works best where its full height, width and pointed silhouette can be seen clearly rather than squeezed into an undersized position.

GARDEN SIGHTLINES

Create a destination

Position at the end of a path, lawn or framed view where the mountain-like outline naturally draws the eye.

MATURE LANDSCAPING

Scale that holds its own

Its 154cm height and broad face allow it to remain visually important amongst larger planting and established garden structures.

LARGER OUTDOOR SPACES

A major natural centrepiece

Use where a smaller decorative fountain would disappear and a genuine piece of natural stone can become part of the garden architecture.

PLANNING THE INSTALLATION

A one-tonne natural stone needs planning โ€” not guesswork.

At approximately 1000kg, No. 194 requires suitable specialist machinery for safe positioning. The important point is to plan this before delivery: once we understand the intended location and access, the handling requirement becomes part of the installation plan rather than an unexpected complication.

01   POSITION Decide where it will live

Choose the final viewpoint and landscape position before planning the route and machinery required to place the stone.

02   ACCESS Assess the route in

Gate widths, steps, surfaces and access between the delivery point and final position should be considered in advance.

03   MACHINERY Plan appropriate lifting

The stone weighs approximately 1000kg and requires suitable specialist machinery for handling and positioning.

Do not let the scale put you off โ€” plan it with us first.

Large natural stone installations are very achievable when access and positioning are considered in advance. Send us photographs and measurements of the proposed location and we can help you understand the practical requirements before you order.

LARGE-FORMAT ALLIA

A substantial stone with a complete reservoir system.

Unlike No. 173, No. 194 is supplied with its pebble-pool reservoir and galvanised steel grid. The size of the monolith still means the ground preparation, support and machinery need to be considered carefully as part of the installation.

90cm Pebble Pool The supplied reservoir measures approximately 90cm in diameter ร— 34cm high with a capacity of 150 litres.
Galvanised Steel Grid A steel support grid is supplied as part of the reservoir system for the finished installation.
Approx. 1000kg Stone The monolith itself requires specialist machinery to move and position safely.
Plan Before Delivery Final position, access and handling should be established before the stone arrives on site.

COMPLETE WATER FEATURE KIT

Stone, reservoir, pump and water connections included.

No. 194 is supplied with the main water-feature components required for the installation, including its reservoir and support grid.

90cm Pebble Pool Approx. 90cm diameter ร— 34cm high, 150-litre reservoir.
Galvanised Steel Grid Strong steel grid supplied as part of the reservoir installation.
Mains Water Pump Pump supplied with approximately 10m of cable.
Required Pipework Water connections supplied for connecting the reservoir and pump to the pre-drilled monolith.
Installation Instructions Installation guidance supplied with the complete water-feature system.
CHOOSE WITH CONFIDENCE

This is a significant stone โ€” so choose the actual piece.

At more than 1.5 metres high and approximately one tonne, No. 194 will become an important part of the garden. Being able to see its actual point, colour, copper markings and proportions before ordering is a major advantage.
