Aterno 56cm Polished Steel Sphere & Base Water Feature

A versatile mid-size mirrored sphere with a matching stainless-steel base — giving you more garden presence without the need to bury a reservoir.

The Aterno 56cm Polished Steel Sphere & Base Water Feature combines one of the most versatile sizes in the Aterno collection with a completely above-ground installation.

Made from grade 304 stainless steel, the polished 56cm sphere reflects planting, paving, buildings and sky as water moves continuously across its curved surface. A matching polished stainless-steel surround conceals the reservoir beneath, creating a clean, unified appearance from the base to the top of the sphere.

At 88cm overall height, the raised version has noticeably more presence than the sphere alone while remaining proportionate for most domestic gardens and patios. Because the reservoir stays above ground, there is no need to excavate a hole into the surrounding surface.

Prefer the sphere closer to ground level?

The standard 56cm Aterno uses a reservoir installed below ground. Decorative pebbles can then conceal the reservoir, leaving the sphere as the main visible element and creating a lower, more integrated garden installation.

OUR SIZING TIP

The 56cm is an excellent middle ground for a typical domestic garden. If the feature will sit within substantial planting or be viewed from across a larger patio or lawn, consider moving to the 75cm. If space is tighter and the feature will be viewed from close range, the 45cm may be more proportionate.

Heavy or Bulky Water Features

Delivered kerbside by a specialist pallet courier, with tracking provided after dispatch. Larger items may arrive in a protective wooden crate, which will require a suitable pry bar or similar tool to open.
