A three-metre mirrored sphere created for major commercial landscapes, landmark entrances and exceptional private projects.

The Aterno 300cm Polished Steel Sphere Water Feature moves beyond conventional garden scale. At a full 3 metres in diameter, the sphere becomes a major architectural object capable of defining the landscape around it.

Its highly polished stainless-steel surface reflects surrounding buildings, planting, people and sky across an enormous curved area. As water travels over the sphere, those reflections continually distort and reform, creating movement that remains visible even across substantial viewing distances.

The 3m Aterno is designed for hotels, destination developments, corporate headquarters, large educational campuses, landmark entrances, public-facing landscapes and exceptional private estates where even a 1.5m or 2m feature may not have sufficient presence.

Due to the exceptional dimensions of the 300cm sphere, standard pallet delivery is not suitable. Delivery requirements and charges are therefore quoted separately according to the destination, access and transport requirements of the project. Please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the most appropriate delivery arrangement for your site.

REQUEST DELIVERY QUOTATION

PROJECT-LED INSTALLATION

Plan access and groundwork before delivery.

A three-metre sphere requires the installation area, water system, access and handling method to be considered as one coordinated project.

Reservoir The water system and reservoir should be specified to suit the individual project and desired finished appearance.

Pond Installation The sphere may also form part of a suitably engineered pond or purpose-built water body.

Groundworks Foundation and water-system preparation should normally be completed before the sphere arrives on site.

Delivery Access Vehicle approach, unloading space and the final route to the installation position should be checked in advance.

Lifting & Handling Suitable mechanical lifting and a planned handling method will be required for safe positioning.

Lighting Architectural lighting can be incorporated into the landscape design to emphasise the polished sphere after dark.

The 2m is often sufficient where a strong commercial focal point is required. The 3m becomes appropriate when the feature must relate to much larger buildings or extensive open areas, while the 4m moves into true landmark scale. For projects at this level, we recommend considering the sphere within elevations, sight lines and the wider landscape rather than choosing from diameter alone.
