Aterno Classico Polished Steel Sphere Trio Water Feature

Three mirror-polished spheres. One impressive architectural focal point.

The Aterno Classico Polished Steel Sphere Trio Water Feature brings together 56cm, 75cm and 100cm polished stainless steel spheres in a carefully graduated composition. The one-metre sphere gives this trio real presence, balanced by the smaller spheres to create depth, movement and a strong visual focal point.

Made from grade 304 mirror-polished stainless steel, each sphere catches reflections of the garden, surrounding architecture and changing sky. Water rises to the top and flows over the curved surfaces, adding the gentle sound of running water to the striking reflective finish.

Supplied as three complete mains-powered water feature kits, the Classico includes a separate water pump, buried pebble pool and white LED light for each sphere. Importantly, the 100cm sphere comes with a larger 75cm diameter × 30cm deep pebble pool, while the 56cm and 75cm spheres each use a 52cm diameter × 22cm deep pool. Install the three reservoirs individually, then conceal them within one continuous decorative pebble area to create a single considered installation.

POSITIONING & INSTALLATION

Three separate reservoirs. One unified landscape feature.

Arrange the spheres in a close triangular grouping, using the 100cm sphere as the main visual anchor. The 75cm and 56cm spheres complement it with stepped heights and contrasting reflections. Conceal the three independent reservoirs with a continuous surrounding pebble area for a clean, considered finish.

Two compact pools, one larger pool

The 56cm and 75cm spheres each use a 52cm diameter × 22cm deep reservoir. The 100cm sphere requires its own larger 75cm diameter × 30cm deep reservoir.

One continuous pebble display

Bury the reservoirs separately and position the spheres as a balanced cluster. Finish the surrounding area with a continuous decorative pebble surface; decorative pebbles are not part of the three standard kits.

Classico combines the standard 56cm and 75cm kits with the larger 100cm kit, including its appropriately sized support grid and reservoir.

MAINS POWER & LIGHTING

Flow and lighting for all three spheres.

Each sphere is supplied with its own appropriately sized mains-powered pump, 10m pump cable and white LED light. The independent water systems make it possible to position the three spheres as one composition while keeping the required reservoirs and pump assemblies separate.

Each complete sphere kit includes its own pump, with the 100cm sphere retaining the larger sphere kit’s pump specification.

Extra capacity for the 1m sphere

The 100cm sphere uses the larger 75 × 30cm heavy-duty pool and support grid rather than the 52 × 22cm pools beneath the smaller spheres.

03   EVENING AMBIENCE

Three white LED lights

White lighting highlights the points where water emerges, adding sparkle and definition to the mirror-polished surfaces.

Installation note: Classico is supplied as three independent, complete mains-powered sphere kits. The 100cm sphere has a larger 75cm diameter × 30cm deep pebble pool and its own support grid. The other two spheres have separate 52 × 22cm pools. The single, continuous pebble finish is created during installation; decorative pebbles and landscaping materials are not included.

Looking for solar power? The Solar Aterno Piccolo offers a smaller 45 / 56 / 75cm three-sphere arrangement. Classico is mains-powered only, with a pump suited to its larger 100cm sphere.

Our sizing tip: Plan around the overall grouping, not just the diameter of the largest sphere. The 100cm Classico also needs room for its larger 75 × 30cm reservoir, stable support, and ongoing maintenance access.
