AQUA MODA ALLIA   /   INDIVIDUAL BLUE GREEN SLATE

Allia Blue Green Slate Monolith Water Feature No. 148

A 63cm natural slate monolith with blue-grey to green colouring, flashes of copper and rounded edges rising towards a natural pinnacle — photographed individually so you can choose the exact stone you will receive.

Allia No. 148 stands apart through both its colouring and its shape. The stone moves naturally between blue-grey and green tones, with flashes of copper visible along its flanks, giving the monolith a warmer and more varied appearance than a uniform grey slate.

No. 148 measures approximately 63cm high × 30cm wide × 23cm deep. Its rounded edges and relatively generous depth give it a substantial natural form, while the upper surface rises towards a pinnacle that creates a clear high point for the water.

Once running, water darkens and saturates the stone, strengthening its blue, green and copper tones while following the natural contours of the monolith.

THE ALLIA DIFFERENCE

The stone you see is the stone you get.

No. 148 is not a generic representation of a 63cm monolith. The photographs show the actual natural stone allocated to this listing. Its shape, rounded edges, pinnacle, colouring and copper markings belong to this individual piece alone.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR ALLIA

Choose on character as well as size.

The stated height helps judge overall scale, but the real reason to choose one Allia over another is usually the individual stone itself — its proportions, colouring, edge profile and natural form.

01   LOOK AT THE COLOUR

Blue-grey, green and copper

No. 148 has particularly varied natural colouring, making it a strong choice if you want more tonal interest than a predominantly grey monolith.

02   LOOK AT THE FORM

Rounded rather than sharply rectangular

Its softer edges rise towards a pinnacle, giving the stone a more organic profile than some of the squarer Allia pieces.

THE CHARACTER OF NO. 148

Rounded, substantial and naturally colourful.

No. 148 combines a compact 63cm height with a relatively substantial 23cm depth, rounded edges and a natural pinnacle, giving it a solid but softer geological form.
63cm High A versatile garden scale that provides a clear focal point without requiring the height of a larger standing monolith.
30cm Wide A balanced face width gives the stone presence while keeping the overall proportions suitable for typical residential settings.
23cm Deep Its comparatively generous depth gives No. 148 a more substantial three-dimensional form than flatter pieces of similar height.
Rounded Pinnacle Form The edges naturally round upwards towards a high point, creating a softer silhouette and a natural starting point for the water.

NATURAL PINNACLE   /   EVEN WATER MOVEMENT

Water flows from the pinnacle across the rounded stone surfaces.

No. 148 comes pre-drilled so water emerges from the upper section of the monolith. The rounded edges and pinnacle help the water travel across the natural surfaces, darkening and saturating the stone as it moves.

Pre-drilled natural stone The water connection is already prepared within the monolith as part of the complete water-feature kit.
Rounded water path The stone's softer natural form allows water to move across its different surfaces rather than simply down one flat face.
Colour intensifies when wet Blue-grey, green and copper tones become darker and more saturated once water begins flowing.

WHERE NO. 148 WORKS WELL

A natural focal point that works with a wide range of garden materials.

Its mix of blue-grey, green and copper colouring makes No. 148 particularly versatile, while its rounded form allows it to sit comfortably within both planted and more structured garden settings.

NATURALISTIC PLANTING

Works naturally with greenery

The green and blue-grey tones blend particularly well with grasses, ferns and surrounding foliage.

PATIOS & COURTYARDS

Add geological character

Use the naturally rounded stone to soften structured paving, walls and harder architectural materials.

MIXED MATERIAL GARDENS

Easy colours to coordinate

Blue-grey, green and copper tones sit comfortably alongside natural stone, timber, planting and contemporary paving.

PLANNING YOUR ALLIA INSTALLATION

Real stone is substantial — sensible preparation keeps things straightforward.

No. 148 is a genuine natural monolith rather than a lightweight moulded fountain. Its 23cm depth gives it a substantial form, so it makes sense to decide on the finished location and route through the garden before installation. The supplied water-feature kit can then be prepared ready for the stone to be placed.

01   FINAL POSITION Choose the location

Select a firm, level area where the rounded stone form and changing natural colours can be clearly appreciated.

02   ACCESS Think about the route in

Consider gates, steps, side passages and the route between delivery and the final garden position before installation day.

03   RESERVOIR Prepare the pebble pool

The supplied 66cm diameter × 40cm deep reservoir is installed below the finished surface to create the concealed recirculating water supply.

Unsure about the practical side?

Send us photographs of your proposed location or book a personal consultation. We can discuss the individual stone, access, scale and general installation before you order so that everything is considered without making the project unnecessarily complicated.

COMPLETE WATER FEATURE KIT

The individual stone and water system are supplied together.

No. 148 comes pre-drilled and is supplied with the principal components required to create its self-contained recirculating water feature.
Blue Green Monolith No. 148 The exact 63 × 30 × 23cm individual natural slate stone shown in the product photographs.
66cm Pebble Pool 660mm diameter × 400mm deep reservoir installed below the finished garden surface.
Galvanised Steel Grid Strong support grid supplied with the pebble pool to provide stability for the finished installation.
Water Pump Recirculating pump supplied as part of the complete water-feature kit.
Required Pipework Water connections supplied for carrying water from the reservoir through the drilled monolith.
Decorative Finish Add your choice of decorative pebbles over the grid to conceal the reservoir and integrate the feature into the surrounding garden.
CHOOSING WITH CONFIDENCE

A similar height can hide a completely different stone.

No. 148 sits close in height to several other Allia monoliths, but its 30cm width, substantial 23cm depth, rounded edges and blue-green colouring give it its own character. That is why choosing from the actual photographs matters.
