Solar Monara Slate 60cm Cascading Sphere Water Feature

A substantial 60cm natural slate sphere combining richly textured cascading water with the freedom of our 800LPH solar and rechargeable battery system.

Exclusive to Aqua Moda, the Solar Monara 60cm Cascading Slate Sphere combines the symmetry of a sphere with the natural texture and character of individually layered slate.

Water emerges from the top before flowing across the uneven stone surface. The projecting slate edges continually divide and redirect the flow into changing streams and rivulets, while the natural grey stone becomes deeper and richer in colour as it gets wet.

Powered by an 800LPH solar pump with rechargeable battery backup, the feature requires no mains electrical connection at the installation point, giving you greater freedom to position it further into the garden.

Position the Monara without running mains power across the garden.

The dedicated solar panel supplies the 800LPH pump and rechargeable battery system. Position the panel separately where it can receive good direct sunlight while placing the sphere where it works best within the garden.

Choose according to where you want to position your Monara.

Both versions use the same 60cm natural slate sphere. The difference is whether positioning freedom or completely consistent electrical power is more important for your garden.

Ideal where there is no convenient outdoor socket, where the feature will sit further into the garden, or where you would prefer not to install mains cabling.

Consistent operation on demand

Choose the mains-powered version when suitable electrical access is already available and dependable operation regardless of sunlight is the priority.

IMPORTANT — SOLAR PERFORMANCE

Solar performance naturally varies according to sunlight, season, weather and battery charge. Position the solar panel where it can receive as much unobstructed direct sunlight as practical throughout the day.

NATURAL SLATE

Water brings the layered stone to life.

Monara is built from natural slate rather than a moulded imitation surface. Water moving across the irregular stone edges creates the characteristic cascading effect while considerably deepening the natural grey and charcoal tones.

Natural layered construction Individual stone pieces create depth, texture and countless channels for the water to follow.
Darker when wet Water enhances the slate's natural tonal variation and makes the layered structure more pronounced.
Each sphere is individual Variations in colour, texture, markings and stone edges are normal characteristics of natural slate.

IN-GROUND INSTALLATION

Conceal the reservoir beneath the landscape.

The supplied 66cm heavy-duty pebble pool sits below ground while the solar panel can be positioned separately in the best available sunny location.
01 Plan the position Choose a firm, level location for the approximately 100kg sphere and identify a sunny position for the solar panel.
02 Install the reservoir Excavate a suitable area for the supplied 66cm heavy-duty pebble pool and position it securely below ground.
03 Connect the solar system Position the 800LPH pump inside the reservoir and connect the water hose, solar panel, battery system and LED uplighter.
04 Position the sphere Carefully place the approximately 100kg Monara onto the support system and ensure it is stable and level.
05 Position the solar panel Place the panel in an open sunny position and finish the visible reservoir area with decorative pebbles.
06 Fill & enjoy Fill the reservoir and operate the solar system to begin recirculating water across the layered slate sphere.
OPTIONAL SOLAR PATIO INSTALLATION

No mains cable. No buried reservoir.

Add the optional 66cm Corten steel reservoir wrap to conceal the supplied pebble pool above ground. Combined with solar power, this creates an especially flexible Monara installation for patios and finished surfaces because neither excavation nor a mains electrical connection at the feature is required.

Delivered kerbside by a specialist pallet courier, with tracking provided after dispatch. Larger items may arrive in a protective wooden crate, which will require a suitable pry bar or similar tool to open.
