Rosara Rainbow Sandstone 45cm Babbling Bowl Water Feature

The most compact Rainbow Sandstone babbling bowl in the Rosara collection, combining genuine natural stone with a calm water effect in an easy-to-place 45cm form.

Measuring approximately 45cm across and just 12cm high, this Rosara is ideal where you want the colour and movement of natural sandstone without introducing an oversized focal point.

Water rises gently through the centre before spreading across the stone and cascading softly around the edge into the concealed reservoir below.

Natural layers of cream, gold, orange, red, brown and occasional purple tones give every bowl an individual character, with those colours becoming noticeably richer once wet.

Rainbow sandstone can display a varied mixture of cream, gold, ochre, orange, red, brown, pink, grey and occasional purple tones.

These colours form naturally within the stone itself, producing individual bands and mineral markings rather than a uniform manufactured finish.

As the water moves across the bowl, the sandstone darkens and the individual colours and layers become more pronounced.

Hide the reservoir and keep the natural stone visible.

The supplied 70cm diameter heavy-duty pebble pool sits beneath the finished garden surface, leaving the compact sandstone bowl and your chosen decorative finish on view.

Choose the position

Select a firm, level location with access to a suitable outdoor electrical supply.

Excavate

Prepare the opening required for the supplied 70cm diameter heavy-duty pebble pool.

Level the pool

Position the reservoir securely and ensure it sits level below the finished surface.

Install the pump

Position the supplied pump inside the reservoir and connect the water supply to the sandstone bowl.

Prepare the support

Ensure the reservoir support area is secure and suitable for the solid natural stone bowl.

Position the bowl

Carefully centre the 45cm sandstone bowl over the supported area.

Finish the surface

Conceal the reservoir with decorative pebbles while retaining suitable access to the pump for maintenance.

Fill & enjoy

Fill the reservoir and switch on the pump. Water flows across the sandstone and continuously returns below.

No permanent water supply required The Rosara uses a self-contained recirculating water system. Once filled, the same water is continuously reused. Simply top up the reservoir periodically to replace water naturally lost through evaporation and splash.

When dry

The bowl displays softer creams, ochres, oranges, reds and earthy mineral tones, with natural bands visible through the stone.

When wet

Water deepens and saturates the natural colouring, making the sandstone's mineral layers and individual markings more pronounced.
