Rosara Rainbow Sandstone 60cm Babbling Bowl Water Feature

A substantial hand-carved sandstone bowl offering the ideal middle ground between the compact 45cm Rosara and the flagship 70cm model.

Measuring approximately 60cm across and 16cm high, this Rosara has enough scale to become a clear garden focal point while remaining manageable within a wide variety of patios, borders and landscaped spaces.

Water rises gently through the centre before spreading across the broad natural stone surface and cascading softly around the edge into the concealed reservoir below.

The sandstone itself is a major part of the feature. Natural layers of cream, gold, orange, red, brown and occasional purple tones become richer and more pronounced as the surface becomes wet.

The 60cm Rosara is the strongest all-rounder in the sandstone bowl range. It has enough width to create a substantial area of moving water while remaining easier to position than the largest model.

A broad, calm surface of softly moving water.

Water rises gently through the centre of the sandstone bowl before spreading naturally outwards.

The 60cm diameter provides enough surface area for gentle rippling and changing reflections to develop before the water reaches the perimeter.

Water then spills softly over the edge, disappears into the concealed pebble pool and is continuously returned to the top of the feature.

Natural layers of colour that become richer under flowing water.

Rainbow sandstone is valued for the variety of natural colours running through the stone. Individual pieces can include cream, gold, ochre, orange, red, brown, pink, grey and purple tones.

The colours form naturally within the sandstone rather than being applied as a surface treatment, so each bowl has its own mineral bands, markings and tonal variation.

Once water spreads across the surface, the colours deepen and the contrast between individual layers becomes more pronounced.

Exact colour, banding, mineral markings, edge character and subtle dimensions vary naturally from one piece to another. This individuality is part of choosing a genuine natural stone water feature.

The supplied 70cm diameter heavy-duty pebble pool is installed below ground, leaving the natural sandstone bowl and your chosen decorative finish visible.

Choose the position

Select a firm, level area with access to a suitable outdoor electrical supply.

Excavate

Prepare a suitable opening for the supplied 70cm diameter heavy-duty pebble pool.

Level the pool

Install the reservoir securely and ensure it is level beneath the finished garden surface.

Install the pump

Position the supplied pump inside the reservoir and connect the water supply to the natural stone bowl.

Prepare the support

Ensure the heavy-duty support area is secure and suitable for the solid sandstone feature.

Position the bowl

Carefully centre the 60cm sandstone bowl over the supported reservoir.

Finish the surface

Conceal the reservoir with decorative pebbles while retaining suitable access for future pump maintenance.

Fill & enjoy

Fill the reservoir and switch on the pump. Water spreads across the stone and continuously returns below.

No permanent water supply required The Rosara uses a self-contained recirculating water system. Once filled, the same water is continuously reused. Simply top up the reservoir periodically to replace water naturally lost through evaporation and splash.
