BOOK A CONSULTATIONA raised natural stone fountain combining a 45cm pink granite babbling bowl with a sculptural 40cm granite twist.
Standing approximately 55cm high overall, this Rosara brings the moving water above ground level and gives the familiar babbling bowl a more visible, sculptural presence within the garden.
Water rises gently through the centre of the bowl before spreading across the shallow granite surface and flowing over the edge. The raised bowl can also provide an accessible water surface for visiting garden birds.
Pink, grey and white minerals run naturally through the granite, creating distinctive speckling across both the bowl and carved twist. Once wet, these colours deepen and become noticeably more defined.
The combination of pink granite, a shallow babbling bowl and a matching carved twist creates a feature with more height and natural colour than the ground-level Rosara bowls.
The raised shallow bowl combines gentle moving water with an elevated water surface that garden birds can use.
The sculptural granite twist lifts the bowl above surrounding gravel and planting, making the water considerably easier to see.
Pink, grey and white mineral flecks create a naturally detailed surface that varies from one piece of granite to another.
Water rises quietly through the centre of the 45cm granite bowl and spreads across its shallow surface.
As the bowl fills, water flows naturally over the edge before falling towards the concealed reservoir below.
Raising the bowl on the granite twist makes the surface movement easier to appreciate and gives the falling water a more visible drop than a conventional ground-level babbling bowl.
Rather than positioning the bowl directly above the pebble pool, this design uses a 40cm carved granite twist to lift the water into a more prominent position.
The combination of a broad circular bowl and narrower sculptural support keeps the feature balanced while adding considerably more vertical presence.
Both the bowl and supporting twist are made from genuine natural granite, creating a consistent material character throughout the complete feature.
The stone contains naturally occurring pink, grey and white mineral flecks, producing its distinctive crystalline appearance.
When wet, the colours deepen and the contrast between individual mineral tones becomes stronger, helping the moving water reveal more of the granite's natural detail.
Exact colour, speckling, markings, shape and subtle dimensions will vary between individual pieces. These natural differences are part of the appeal of genuine stone rather than a defect.
The supplied 66cm heavy-duty pebble pool and grid sit beneath the finished surface, leaving the pink granite twist, bowl and your chosen decorative finish visible.
Choose a firm, level position with access to a suitable outdoor electrical supply.
Prepare a suitable opening for the supplied 66cm diameter heavy-duty pebble pool.
Install the reservoir securely and level beneath the finished garden surface.
Position the supplied pump inside the reservoir and route the water connection through the granite twist to the bowl above.
Position the supplied heavy-duty support grid securely over the pebble pool.
Carefully position the granite twist and bowl centrally over the supported area.
Conceal the visible grid with decorative pebbles while retaining suitable access to the pump for maintenance.
Fill the reservoir and switch on the pump. Water bubbles into the bowl and continuously returns to the pool below.
Decorative pebbles are available separately, allowing you to conceal the reservoir and grid and coordinate the finished installation with paving, gravel or surrounding planting.
The stone displays softer pink, grey and white mineral tones with individual speckling visible across the bowl and twist.
Water deepens the granite colouring and increases the contrast between the different mineral flecks, giving the stone a richer and more defined appearance.
At approximately 55cm high, the Pink Granite Bird Bath brings moving water above surrounding gravel and low planting.
This makes it particularly effective within borders, beside seating or in more open areas where the carved granite twist can be appreciated as part of the design.
The warm speckled colouring works naturally with planting, timber and stone paving while still providing enough detail for more contemporary landscapes.
