BOOK A CONSULTATIONA low, broad Corten water table built around a generous 60cm circular surface of continuously moving water.
At approximately 37cm high and 60cm in diameter, this Caldera has a completely different proportion to the taller 60cm water table. The emphasis is horizontal rather than vertical, giving the feature a wider, calmer and more substantial appearance.
Water bubbles gently from a central fountain point before spreading outwards across the wide flat top and flowing over the edge. It then returns into the reservoir contained within the feature below.
Supplied pre-weathered, the genuine Corten steel arrives with its characteristic orange-brown patina already visible, creating an immediate architectural focal point for patios, gravel gardens and contemporary landscapes.
The 60cm diameter makes this version primarily about water, reflection and horizontal scale rather than column height.
The wide circular top creates a generous moving surface that catches reflections from the sky, planting and surrounding garden.
The lower proportions create a calmer, more grounded focal point that sits naturally alongside seating and low planting.
The reservoir is integrated within the feature, allowing above-ground installation without excavation.
Water rises through a central fountain point before spreading across the broad circular top.
The 60cm diameter provides considerably more horizontal water surface than the taller 35cm-wide Caldera water table, creating a stronger sense of reflection and a calmer overall composition.
Once the water reaches the perimeter, it flows over the edge and returns into the concealed reservoir within the body of the feature.
The defining proportion of this Caldera is its 60cm diameter against a height of just 37cm.
This creates a low cylindrical form that feels much more like a traditional contemporary water table than a vertical column, while still retaining the compact simplicity of a fully self-contained feature.
The Caldera is manufactured from genuine weathering steel and supplied pre-weathered so its characteristic orange-brown Corten finish is already visible on arrival.
Natural oxidation creates variation across the surface rather than the uniform appearance of a painted finish.
Against the broad reflective water surface, the warm rust tones create a strong material contrast that works particularly well within contemporary garden schemes.
Rust-coloured run-off can occur during the first few months while the Corten continues to weather. This can mark pale or porous surfaces, so positioning the feature on a non-porous surface or within gravel is recommended until the patina has fully stabilised.
The wide water surface reflects changing daylight and nearby planting while contrasting against the warm weathered steel.
The included LED lighting brings additional definition to the water movement and allows the broad circular surface to remain visually effective into the evening.
The 37cm height makes this model especially useful beside seating areas, low planting and terraces where a taller water feature could interrupt views.
Its 60cm diameter gives it enough visual weight to remain a clear focal point, while the integrated reservoir makes installation straightforward on a suitable above-ground surface.
Everything required for water circulation is contained within the feature itself, making this one of the simpler Caldera formats to incorporate into an existing patio or landscaped area.
Select the final location with access to a suitable outdoor electrical supply and consideration for initial Corten run-off.
There is no separate underground pebble pool to install or conceal beneath the surrounding landscape.
The pump sends water to the centre of the table before it flows across the surface and returns to the reservoir below.
The familiar orange and brown rust tones are already present, giving the water table an established appearance from the outset.
Weather exposure allows the patina to evolve further, meaning exact tones and markings will naturally change over time.
Explore the wider Caldera collection for alternative Corten proportions, natural stone finishes and water effects, including the taller 60cm Corten Water Table.
The 37cm model gives you a much broader 60cm water surface and lower profile, while the 60cm version is narrower and more vertical. Our specialists can help you decide which proportion works best for your space.
