BOOK A CONSULTATIONA tall, refined water column hand-crafted from solid grey granite, combining understated natural stone with a clean architectural form.
Standing approximately 90cm high and 20cm across, this Caldera is designed to create a strong vertical focal point without requiring a wide footprint.
Water rises through the centre of the granite before spreading across the top and travelling down the smooth outer surface. The flowing water deepens the stone's grey colouring and increases the contrast within its natural speckled mineral pattern.
The cool neutral finish makes this one of the most versatile Caldera designs for contemporary paving, gravel gardens, planting schemes and architectural steel features.
Grey granite gives the Caldera a cleaner and more restrained character than warmer sandstone or Corten, making it particularly effective within contemporary and minimal garden schemes.
Tall enough to remain clearly visible above planting and from further across the garden.
Cool grey and white mineral speckling gives the column subtle natural detail without distracting from its simple form.
The narrow stone profile provides substantial height while remaining practical for borders, courtyards and tighter layouts.
Water is pumped internally through the granite and emerges gently at the top of the column.
It spreads across the upper surface before travelling down the smooth stone exterior, creating a constantly changing layer of reflection over the grey mineral finish.
The taller proportions give the water a long visible journey, allowing the movement to become as important as the stone itself.
Caldera relies on proportion rather than decorative detail. The 90cm height gives the feature presence while the narrow 20cm profile keeps the form visually clean.
The smooth granite finish reinforces that simplicity, making this version particularly suited to modern gardens where restrained materials and strong vertical lines are preferred.
The column is crafted from genuine grey granite, with natural grey, white and darker mineral flecks running through the stone.
Unlike a uniform manufactured finish, granite contains subtle variations in pattern and tone that become more apparent as water moves across the surface.
Its neutral colouring makes it particularly easy to combine with steel, Corten, dark paving, pale stone, gravel and contemporary planting.
Exact mineral pattern, speckling and subtle tonal differences vary between individual granite pieces. These variations are part of the character of genuine natural stone.
The cool grey granite works well in both highly contemporary and more restrained natural garden schemes.
Its 90cm height allows it to stand amongst planting without disappearing, while the slim profile keeps the feature suitable for relatively narrow spaces.
It also pairs particularly well with the clean lines of Aqua Moda Serio steel water features, making it useful where multiple materials are being coordinated within one landscape.
The feature is supplied with a 60cm diameter pebble pool and steel support grid. Once installed below the finished surface, the reservoir can be concealed beneath decorative stone or gravel.
Select a firm, level area with access to a suitable outdoor electrical supply.
Prepare the opening required for the supplied 60cm diameter pebble pool.
Install the pebble pool securely and ensure it sits level beneath the finished landscape surface.
Position the mains-powered pump within the reservoir and connect the water feed to the granite column.
Position the supplied steel support grid securely over the reservoir.
Carefully centre and level the 90cm solid granite feature over the support grid.
Conceal the reservoir and grid with decorative pebbles while maintaining suitable access for future pump servicing.
Fill the reservoir and switch on the pump. Water continuously circulates through the column and back below.
Decorative pebbles are available separately, allowing the reservoir and steel grid to be concealed beneath a finish chosen to complement the granite and surrounding landscape.
The granite has a softer light-to-mid grey appearance with subtle white and darker mineral flecks visible through the stone.
Water darkens the granite and makes the individual mineral speckles more pronounced while adding moving reflections across the smooth surface.
