Monara Grande Trio 70 Solar – Three 70cm Cascading Slate Spheres

Three full-sized slate spheres. One striking landscape installation, powered by three independent solar and battery systems.

The Monara Grande Trio 70 Solar brings together three matching 70cm cascading natural slate spheres in one large-scale garden composition. Unlike a graduated trio, every sphere is the same substantial size, creating rhythm, repetition and strong visual balance.

Water bubbles from the crown of each sphere and travels over hundreds of irregular slate edges, breaking into natural rivulets. The stone darkens as it becomes wet, adding contrast and movement across all three surfaces.

Each sphere has its own 800LPH solar pump, panel and rechargeable battery system, so the installation can be positioned without a mains electrical connection at the spheres. Output and run time naturally depend on sunlight and battery charge.

Each of the three Monara spheres is served by its own 800LPH solar pump, solar panel and rechargeable battery. When the panels receive suitable sunlight, water flows over the slate in a gentle, naturally textured cascade; stored battery energy can extend operation as daylight reduces.

THE CHARACTER OF NATURAL SLATE

Monara spheres are made from individual pieces of natural slate, rather than a uniform moulded shell. Expect subtle variations in tone, stone thickness, edges and markings between the three spheres; these are part of the character of real stone, while the identical 70cm diameter gives the trio its visual unity.

NATURAL MATERIAL & FINISH

The water effect shown in lifestyle photography is illustrative. Natural slate texture, pump setting, weather and installation conditions affect the exact pattern of water flow. Pebbles, bespoke raised borders and surrounding landscaping are not supplied as part of the standard kit.

IN-GROUND / INTEGRATED SOLAR INSTALLATION

Three reservoirs beneath the landscape. Three panels in the sun.

Create a straight-line composition, a staggered arrangement or an integrated raised border, provided the construction safely supports the stone, water and equipment. Each sphere requires a separate 90cm reservoir, with accessible solar components and an unobstructed position for its panel.
