About The Project
Originally located in John Frost Square in Newport, Water Features provided two Aterno 200cm Stainless Steel Sphere Water Features in preparation for the 2010 Ryder Cup, which was being hosted at the nearby Celtic Manor. The spheres were part of a redevelopment project to spruce up the surrounding town of Newport, Wales.

Where Are The Spheres Now?
The spheres have since been relocated to the banks of the River Usk and the University of South Wales, both still in Newport, and re-commisioned to commemorate King Charles III Coronation in 2023. Now known as the Commemorative Globes, the steel spheres no longer run as water features but instead are ornamental pieces that reflect their surroundings beautifully.
