NATURAL STONE / INDIVIDUAL BY DESIGN
Discover sandstone, granite, slate, basalt, limestone and marble fountains in spheres, bowls, columns, twists, monoliths and naturally sculptural forms.
Every piece of natural stone has its own colour, grain, layers and markings. Once wet, those variations often become richer and more pronounced, making the material itself an important part of the finished design.

CHOOSING YOUR STONE
Start with the colour, texture and character you want, then choose the shape and scale of the feature.
SANDSTONE
Rainbow sandstone can contain cream, gold, red, brown, pink and grey tones. Water enriches the colour and highlights the layers, making it particularly effective in planted and naturalistic gardens.
GRANITE
Granite creates a cleaner and more restrained look. Polished and finely finished surfaces work particularly well with contemporary paving, structured planting and modern landscaping.
SLATE
Slate brings layered texture and deep grey colour. Its surface changes noticeably when wet, making it particularly effective for textured spheres, monoliths and statement pieces.
BASALT
Basalt has a darker, more organic character and works particularly well as natural boulders, slabs, columns and carved forms where the original stone remains part of the design.
LIMESTONE
Black limestone offers a deep, sophisticated colour with less surface texture than slate. It works well when you want natural stone with a simpler, more contemporary appearance.
MARBLE
Marble sits at the more decorative end of the collection, with distinctive veining and polished surfaces giving the stone itself a stronger visual presence.
CHOOSE THE FORM
Once you have chosen the material, decide how formal or organic you want the feature to feel within the garden.

VIEW ALL STONE FEATURESNATURAL VARIATION
Variation is part of the appeal of genuine stone rather than a defect or manufacturing inconsistency.
COLOUR & MARKINGS
Tone, grain, layers, veining and surface markings naturally vary between pieces, particularly with rainbow sandstone, slate and irregular basalt.
DRY VS WET
Many natural stones darken and reveal more colour when wet, so the fountain can look noticeably more vivid when running than when viewed dry.
FIND YOUR STONE
Choose sandstone for warm natural variation, granite for a cleaner architectural finish, slate for layered texture or basalt for a more rugged sculptural look. Then decide whether your garden suits a sphere, bowl, twist, column or natural monolith.
